We use Logo.dev for logos, ClamAV on Railway for file scanning, Supabase for authentication and database services in London (AWS eu-west-2), Railway for hosting in Netherlands (Railway europe-west4), and GitHub for version control and CI/CD.

This application uses open-source software components from various developers and organisations. We want to be transparent about the licences that govern these components:
MIT License (~90% of components): This is one of the most permissive open-source licenses. It allows us to use, modify, and distribute the software freely, including in commercial applications. The only requirement is that we include the original copyright notice.
Apache-2.0 License (~8% of components): Similar to MIT, this license allows commercial use and modification. It also provides an express grant of patent rights, which offers additional legal protection.
BSD Licenses (~2% of components): These are also very permissive licenses that allow commercial use with minimal restrictions. They require attribution but don't restrict how the software can be used.
SIL Open Font License 1.1 (web fonts): The public marketing site loads Inter and Plus Jakarta Sans via Google Fonts. Both typefaces are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits use, embedding, and redistribution with attribution. See the Copyright Notices tab for font-specific credits and links.
All of these licenses are "permissive" licenses, which means they allow commercial use without requiring us to share our source code or make our application open-source. This is different from "copyleft" licenses (like GPL), which we do not use in this application.
In addition to open-source libraries, this application uses third-party API services (Logo.dev, ClamAV, Supabase, Railway, and GitHub) for specific features. These are commercial or hosted services that we access through their APIs or private network; they do not impose copyleft restrictions on this application.
